Sangya did my brows and she did an AMAZING job! I was so surprised because I am super anal and picky with my brows. .... wow she nailed it-almost like how my former brow technichian did them. They look great and natural, not cookie cutter shaped, actually shaped to fit my face.

I use to go to Gretta Cole in Back Bay and see Mary to get my brows done, which she was phenomenal, but she left! So I let my brows grow out till I couldn't handle them anymore and find another trust worthy place. Finally after about a year I decided it was time to get them done and I found Boston Threading here on yelp. I've never tried threading but this place had all great reviews so I gave it a try.

Walked in on a Tuesday at 11:30, no wait. Sangya did my brows and she did an AMAZING job! I was so surprised because I am super anal and picky with my brows. I told her I want my brows kept thick, to clean them up and carve my arch and wow she nailed it-almost like how my former brow technichian did them. They look great and natural, not cookie cutter shaped, actually shaped to fit my face. And for $12- you can't go wrong here.

The shop is small (2 chairs) super clean and lots of natural light. Going at an off time I'd assume is your best bet to get in and out quick. It probably took 15 mins to do mine (and my brows needed a lot of love).

Sangya only works on Tuesdays. My coworker also got hers done with me and she will be our go to girl and I'll be sticking to threading vs. waxing for a while. What a hidden gem.

Akriti is amazing, she does a very good job at cleaning up and shaping one's brows. She has a very pleasing personality too, and makes you feel comfortable during the session. She's quick, but very gentle.

She's quick, but very gentle. The salon is very clean and has a ton of light coming in to make it bright and welcoming. The location is a little difficult to find the first time, so leave 5 minutes extra before your appointment. I haven't needed to make an appointment in the past though - walk-ins are welcome and I've never had to wait. Having an affordable, clean, and quick threading place in downtown Boston is a god send!

Ranju, you are absolutely amazing!

I haven't gotten my eyebrows professionally done in about half a year (and felt like a cavewoman), I usually cleaned them up myself. And as my graduation and formals were approaching, I decided to let my brows grow out (it was very painful lol), and give Boston Threading a chance. Some of my girlfriends recommended me to try this place and I now am a believer.

I walked in on a random day and waited for the three ladies ahead of me to go. When it was finally my turn, Ranju greeted me with a friendly smile and asked me what I wanted. I told her I wanted my face to be clean and asked her if I should do full face or which areas I needed to get done? She told me my brows, a little bit of my forehead, and sides needed some touching up and off she went! She didn't try to upsell me, which showed me just how genuine she is! She did my brows, forehead, sides, and even upper lip. She only charged me for my brows and sides because she said it wasn't my full forehead and upper lip so she felt it wasn't needed to charge me extra. My brows turned out great, I felt like a woman again!!!! :D Plus points for Boston Threading!
